Well I guess it is time to say goodbye to March. The weather is finally improving… a little bit. The lighter nights are here and I am so happy about it. I was getting a bit sick of the lack of daylight.
So what did I get up to this month?
I had another night out with work. We were nominated for a Scottish Grocer Award, unfortunately we didn’t win but to make into the final three was a huge achievement. It was a nice night out with fancy dresses, good food, a little too much drink, a comedian and a George Michael impersonator. Yup, random, but good fun.
I had a nice day out by myself which I wrote my post A Day At Hadrian’s Wall about. It’s definitely made me want to get out and about a bit more, whether it’s by myself or with someone. Doesn’t really matter I just need to spend less time sitting on the sofa basically. I’ve even bought myself a pair of walking boots.
The cats received their first ever PawPost this month, and they loved it. They are used to getting the empty boxes from my subscriptions but this month they got a box full of goodies to themselves. I love this idea, a great way to let them try new things. I think I find it just as exciting as the cats haha!
Other than that it has pretty much been work and not an awful lot else this month. Still no luck selling my house unfortunately. Never mind just have to keep my fingers crossed that now we are into spring there will be more people looking.
Ok, so what are my favourites this month then?
Eyeko Black Magic Mascara. I fricking love this mascara. It’s just a little sample size and I have no idea where it came from but it is so good! I seriously need to look into buying a big one because this one isn’t going to last too much longer. I definitely recommend it.
Max Factor Colour Corrector. When I first saw these colour correctors I didn’t get it at all. I didn’t understand how they could possibly work but, no lie, they seriously do. Don’t ask me how because I still do’t really understand it. The green one is to correct redness, which I tend to get quite a bit of on my cheeks and nose, this really does balance that out, it’s great. I also like the fact this one is like crayon rather than in a palette, it makes it so much easier to use, just draw all over your face and blend, done. Honestly if you are like me and think how the hell can putting green stuff on your face do any good, give it a go. You will be surprised.
English Heritage Membership. After my trip to Hadrian’s Wall I decided to invest in an English Heritage Membership. It makes sense to pay a fee for the year, as long as I make the most of it. Hopefully just having it will encourage me to go and visit as many of the sites as I can. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet but I have been going through the handbook and marking the places I want to try and get to. Crazy the things I get excited about these days!
This is a double like Juice Sound Square and Ed Sheeran Divide Album. Why have I only just gotten around to buying a bluetooth speaker! Honestly I love this thing, it’s nice and small so I can take it wherever I want, even if it’s just different rooms of the house, it’s pretty darn loud which is a must. It’s just super handy and I love it. Ed Sheeran’s new album has been on repeat in my house and car recently. That man can do no wrong it seems, I mean the whole bloody album was in the charts at one point, the 16 songs held the top 16 places, that’s impressive right? Seriously though this album has a bit of everything on it, something to suit every mood, even a bit of Irish folk music in there. LOVE IT!
And finally, a random one to finish, basically I am loving anything Lemon flavoured! I did say it was random. I have always like lemon flavoured stuff but recently it’s become more of an addiction. Damn Mr Kipling bringing out their Lemon Fancies for Easter…YUM!
Ok I’m finally done I promise! If you made it to the end well done! High Five! Yeah!
How was your March?
